Prasanna Sharma, PMHNP

Prasanna Sharma is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping individuals overcome mental health challenges. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Texas at Arlington and went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in psychiatric mental health from the Cizik School of Nursing at UT Health Houston. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals to achieve optimal health and well-being. She has experience working in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities, where she cared for patients with complex medical and mental health conditions.She believes in a holistic approach to mental health care, which includes a thorough assessment of physical, emotional, and environmental factors that may be contributing to a client’s mental health symptoms. In addition to clinical expertise, Prasanna is committed to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with the latest advancements in mental health treatment.
